OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.

1.HOW TO ENTER

a.The KSN / ALL-STAR BIRTHDAY CONTEST begins Monday, May 5, 2014 at 12:01am CST and runs through Friday, May 30, 2014, 11:59am CST (known as the "Contest Period").

b.To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method: contestants must use the contest code provided in every contest announcement.  The contest spot will run every weekday during KSN Kansas Today between 6am -7am CST.  Then enter the contest by logging onto the contest page at KSN.com, providing proper contact information and the correct contest code "All-Star Birthday."  Contestants must have their entry logged into our internet database by 11:59 a.m. CST on May 30, 2014.  There will be one winner named on May 30, 2014.   

c.The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.

d.Each contestant is limited to one entry per day per email address May 5- May 30, 2014.

2.ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a.The contest is open to all KSN Viewers who are 18 years of age or older and legally reside in Kansas, Oklahoma or Nebraska.  Employees of KSNW (the "Station"), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the KSN viewing area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.  Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Void where prohibited.

b.Contestants may NOT be eligible if they have been named a winner of another KSNW-TV Contest within the past 30 days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.  

c.Winners are required to present a valid government issued photo ID and sign a release in order to retrieve any prize. 

3.PRIZES

a.There will be one (1) Grand Prize winner and one (1) Runner Up winner drawn (via random drawing) on May 30, 2014.  The Grand Prize winner will receive the following prize: One (1) Deluxe Birthday Party Package for 8 guests at the East location.  The package includes a trained party captain to host the party, a decorated party table with ballons for 1.5 hours, 1 hour of unlimited miniature golf, choice of three activities (Go-Kart Bumper Boat, Bumper Car or Amusement ride), 30 arcade tokens per guest, 2 slices of pizza per guest, unlimited soda and popcorn during table time, birthday bags with coupons and discounts, paper party supplies (plates, cups, spoons, napkins, forks, etc), printable online invitations; the birthday person will also receive a group photo mug, free super Saturday pass and a voucher for 300 redemption points (valued with the Approximate Retail Value of $130.00).  THIS PRIZE PACKAGE MUST BE BOOKED ONE FULL WEEK BEFORE THE DATE OF THE PARTY.  The Runner Up winner will receive two (2) Pick 3 Passes good for Mini Golf, Go Karts and Bumper Cars (good for 2 single rides, NOT unlimited) at the East location (valued with the Approximate Retail Value of $35.00).

b.All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below after June 27, 2014.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by 5pm on June 27, 2014.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

c.There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply. 

4.WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a.Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.

b.The Grand Prize winner  and Runner Up winner will be determined by a random drawing of all eligible entries each day from May 5- May 30, 2014.  The drawing will take place Friday,  May 30th, 2014 at about 1:00pm CST.  Each winner will be notified by phone.  For a list of winners, email ksnpromotions@ksn.com.

c.Odds of winning depend on the number of entries are logged in the qualifier database as of May 30th at 11:59am CST.  

d.Prizes will be released to winners only. Upon receipt of the aforementioned prize, subject to verification by KSNW-TV, all winners must sign and return any required affidavit and/or a liability/publicity release to relieve KSNW-TV, its respective parent entities, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, and sponsors from any and all liability with respect to the contestant's participation in the contest, the receipt and/or use of the prize, including any events, injury and/or damage that occurs at the aforementioned concert.  Prizes not claimed by the close of business on June 27, 2014 shall be considered forfeited and will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters to use at their discretion. 

5.CONDITIONS

a.Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b.By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.  The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.

c.Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d.The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  

e.Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f.The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.

g.Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KSNW TV, 833 North Main, Wichita, KS.
