OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING.
1.HOW TO ENTER
a.The KSN / MONSTER JAM CONTEST begins Monday, December 16, 2013 at 12:01am CST and runs through Friday, December 27, 2013, 11:59am CST (known as the "Contest Period").
b.To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method: contestants must get the contest code by watching any KSN News at 6pm or 10pm for the Contest Code December 16 through December 27th. Then enter the contest by logging onto the contest page at KSN.com, providing proper contact information and the correct Contest Code ("Feel The Rumble!"). Contestants must have their entry logged into our internet database by 11:59 p.m. CST on December 27th, 2013. There will be one winner per day starting December 30th through January 3rd. The five winners will be determined by a random drawing each day and announced during the KSN News at 6pm & 10pm broadcast.
c.The Station is not responsible for Internet transmission errors, illegible entries, service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent transmitting his/her entry.
d.One entry per person, per day. Each contestant is limited to one entry per day per email address December 16- December 27th, 2013
2.ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a.The contest is open to all KSN Viewers who are 18 years of age or older and legally reside in Kansas, Oklahoma or Nebraska. Employees of KSNW (the "Station"), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other television stations in the KSN viewing area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
b.Contestants may NOT be eligible if they have been named a winner of another KSNW-TV Contest within the past 30 days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.
c.Winners are required to present a valid government issued photo ID and sign a release in order to retrieve any prize.
3.PRIZES
a.There will be one (1) winner drawn (via random drawing) each day starting December 30- January 3rd. Each of the five (5) winners will receive the following prize: Four (4) Reserved Seat tickets to see the Monster Jam at 7:30pm on January 10, 2013 at INTRUST Bank Arena (valued with the Approximate Retail Value of $80.00).
b.All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below after January 3rd, 2013. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed by 5pm on January 8th, 2013. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
c.There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4.WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a.Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
b.One winner will be determined by a random drawing of all eligible entries each day from December 30- January 3rd. The drawings will take place at about 1:00pm CST each business day before the announcement. Each winner will be notified by phone and their name will be announced that on KSN News at 6pm and 10pm. c.Odds of winning depend on the number of entries are logged in the qualifier database as of December 27th at 11:59pm CST.
d.Winner needs to be watching any KSN News at 6pm or 10pm Monday, December 30th through Friday, January 3rd, 2013 for the Contest Code ("Feel The Rumble!").
e.Prizes will be released to winners only. Upon receipt of the aforementioned prize, subject to verification by KSNW-TV, all winners must sign and return any required affidavit and/or a liability/publicity release to relieve KSNW-TV, its respective parent entities, subsidiaries, officers, directors, members, managers, employees, agents, and sponsors from any and all liability with respect to the contestant's participation in the contest, the receipt and/or use of the prize, including any events, injury and/or damage that occurs at the aforementioned concert. Prizes not claimed by the close of business on January 8th, 2013 shall be considered forfeited and will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters to use at their discretion.
5.CONDITIONS
a.Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b.By participating in the contest, participants agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. The Website’s Terms of Service apply to any online portions of this Contest.
c.Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d.The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
e.Failure to comply with the contest rules or the Station’s website Terms of Service may result in an entrant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
f.The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
g.Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KSNW TV, 833 North Main, Wichita, KS.
